Pray For Your Daughter – Love

IMG_3382Praying Scripture Over Your Daughter

Day 1 Prayer - Love

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are Love. You sent Your Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Your greatest commandment given to us was to love You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. And the second commandment is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself. We also know that nothing can separate us from Your love: not death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation.

Lord, I pray right now for Your love for my daughter. Jesus, fill my child with Your Agape love throughout her entire life. Please give her a heart that overflows with love for You and for others. Keep my child from loving the things of this world such as money, immorality or even other people, more then my child loves You. I pray that she will be a kind, compassionate and a loving person to all she meets. And I pray that she will show love to her enemies, as well as to her friends.

Jesus, I confess that I don’t always do a good job at loving others, so please help me to teach her that love is patient and love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

Prince of Peace, thank You for loving for my daughter with Your selfless, sacrificial, undeniable, unfailing, and unconditional love which You humbly and freely give to each of us.

In Your loving name I pray,

1 Peter 4:8

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Mark 12:30-31

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[f] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[g] There is no commandment greater than these.”
