The Honeymoon Phase

I know why they call the second trimester the honeymoon period of pregnancy. I feel so much better now. I can pretty much eat like normal, and I have my energy back and can almost work out like I used to. Thank You, Lord, for getting me over the hump. There were days when I thought I’d never feel the same.

Dan and I have been doing the spring-cleaning, and he’s amazed at the energy I have this week. We have a list of things we want to get done to the house before the baby comes, including fixing up the lower level (or finishing our basement). We’re going to put a workout room down there, so it will be convenient for me to work out and train clients with the baby nearby. I’m really looking forward to that.
